Warm weather brings life to the art community in Atlanta. Yes, we're buzzing year round, but the spring and summer months are when the streets really come alive. This weekend, the creative events to look forward to include: Forward Warrior, the City of Ink Edgewood Anniversary Party, and Atlanta Zine Fest. Here's a brief run down on why you need to make time for all three of these events.
This weekend Forward Warrior returns for the 6th year. The two day "event" brings 36 artists to Wylie St. to create an interactive public art experience. The event is FREE and open to the public from 10am to 8pm Saturday and Sunday. More Info.
The creatives of one of Atlanta's top shops for body art - City of Ink - are hosting an anniversary day party for the Edgewood location. The event will take place Saturday, June 11th from 5pm to 9pm at City of Ink Edgewood, and it is FREE and open to the public. We hear there are free libations as well! Don't miss good vibes, tattoo specials and our favorite DJ Durrty Martinez and favorite robe wearing host Sean Fahie!
If you missed our latest post on Atlanta Zine Fest, you can check it out here. It is another badass event taking over South Downtown on S. Broad St. - Don't miss it!
